February 2026 Review

Welp. Off to a standard-tiered start with a singular movie review to choose from for this month’s highlight. That being said, I am still pretty happy with this one. It’s a bit longer than is typical for my reviews as of late, but I am proud of the content I discuss in it and the points I make. It’s for the final season of Stranger Things, and I think I did the season (and, hopefully, the series) justice with how I approach it. Stranger Things is a series I had effectively grown up with, considering it has been around for over a third of my life. Anyway, I talk about how I think it remains true to its characters, in spite of some narrative shortcomings or logical flaws, and how this keeps it a net positive. Wrapping up a series with so many beloved moments and an ever-growing cast of characters is no small feat, and I want to recognize that. For its characters and their characterizations, I think Stranger Things stuck the landing. If you want to better understand why that is, and what issues it has to work against to do this, check out the review on my YouTube channel here.
