May 2025 Writing Update

Okay, keeping this one brief. Still beta reading. Still reconstructing the narrative to better address concerns and critiques from finished beta readers. Still struggling to wrap my head around some of the changes and solve some new problems that a new perspective on the plot, themes, and arcs of the whodunit is presenting.

But, on a less vexing note, the horrors! The horrors and their narrative is well underway. About fifty pages in, actually. Really enjoying it so far, and feeling pretty good about how I am setting up the chess board, so to speak. And of course it’s always fun to torment your protagonist in ways that are uniquely unbearable to them specifically. Ah, the glee of spring!
