April 2026 Review

This marks four (?) months in a row where I’ve only got one review to show for myself. Perhaps that trend shall be bucked in April. But, realistically, looking at the month ahead of me, I sincerely doubt that.

So, enjoy what you’ve got, I guess.

And what you’ve got is a review where I talk in earnest about Project Hail Mary, and how its narrative structure not only serves to keep the plot moving forward, but works really well to enhance the story’s emotional beats, too. I really loved the book, and seemed to have loved the movie adaptation just as much. Check out my thoughts on it on my YouTube channel here.
