September 2026 Writing Update

The quality improved! By approximately 14% on measurable metrics! Please do not ask me what measurable metrics are for a screenplay. I just work here, honest.

But, anyway, the feedback this time around felt considerably more actionable than what I got from the first draft I took feedback on. In fact, the entire thing suggested I move in a pretty different direction for the back-half of the narrative than my original intentions. And, honestly, it seems to be working so far. I suppose I’m a bit disappointed that I don’t get to explore the more abstract and cosmic elements of the story that existed in my head, but if it makes the experience for the reader better, I’m all for it.

After all, that’s what the whole thing is about at the end of the day, right?
