August 2026 Writing Update

Welp. Screenplay redraft is still awaiting a report as to if quality has improved or not. Believe that is, technically speaking, due any day now. In the meantime, I am “filling the air” with a no-planning whodunit screenplay. Famously a genre which requires very little planning. But I am attempting to do as much while keeping things in a single location and with a requirement to hit the FADE TO BLACK by page 100. I think those restrictions will ideally necessitate some creative problem-solving and fun ideas within the restraints, but we shall see.

Otherwise, I suppose I should make some heavy considerations with the existing horror screenplay that is out for review at the moment depending on its score. I am personally a huge fan of the premise and the characters I’ve put into this, but depending on how it does it may need some severe reimagining. Here’s hoping the results aren’t too bad though.
