July 2026 Review

One step forward, one step back. That’s what they say, isn’t it? Well, at least, that’s probably what they would say seeing me have another month where only one singular movie review is released. And, again, this one only covers one singular movie this time, too. So I don’t even have the same excuse I did last month.

But, you know, maybe I can claim that a Spielberg film, on average, is worth more than a typical movie. There’s probably a lot of implied issues there in relation to the merit of art and how we relate to it, but that’s a subject for a different blog post. Namely, a blog post where I’m not suggesting you check out my latest movie review.

This blog post is meant to tell you about how much I resonated with Disclosure Day, and appreciated it for the film it was trying to be. There was a lot of greatness in it, and that’s to be expected from Spielberg. In the review, I talk about what specifically makes the main man one of one. Blocking, lighting, you name it, the guy executes it to a tee. So, check out the video on YouTube here.
