December 2025 Review

A WHOLE QUARTER of on-time website updates in a row! They should give me an award or something. Or, you know, I should give you a review or something. And I will! Despite Adobe Premiere’s best efforts, I got the Wicked For Good review out in a timely fashion, keeping my streak alive.

I particularly enjoyed making this review, since it felt so easy to talk about a film you’ve not only seen on screen but on stage. And reviews where I get to talk about a sequel to a film I’ve reviewed in the past are oddly satisfying. They’re like a sort of reflection as to how I’ve grown (or stagnated, I suppose) as a reviewer.

Anyways, check out the review! I think I raise some interesting ideas about the structure of Wicked’s story, as well as what limitations and hurdles this sets upon the second film.
