September 2025 Review

Oh, and just as quickly as the multi-review months come, so too do they fall away. August was tamer both in terms of budget of the film I reviewed and general enthusiasm for the films I saw. Weapons was no doubt really well made, but I personally thought there were some things about it which caused it to fall short of the hype there was around it. Still great and worth seeing, but for me at least not quite scary enough for pure horror and not quite tense often enough for a thriller. Well-worth checking out, though.
